Christopher Walken will play Emperor Shaddam IV in the sequel to Dune
According to media reports, Christopher Walken has joined the cast of Denis Villeneuve's "Dune" sequel - he will play the Padish Emperor Shaddam IV.
Earlier it became known that the role of the daughter of Shaddam IV, Irulan, will be performed by Florence Pugh (“Black Widow”). Austin Butler (Elvis 2022) also joined the cast - he got the role of Fayd-Rauta Harkonnen, the nephew of Baron Vladimir Harkonnen.
The release of the continuation of "Dune" is scheduled for October 20, 2023. The film is expected to begin production later this year.
